  Olivia Gray has been described as one of the most interesting singer/song- writers in contemporary pop music around, her unique and sensual voice as ravishingly captivating and sensuously breathtaking. This together with her exceptional songwriting and excellent arrangements make her music stand out so much out of the ordinary.

Born into a family of painters and actresses Olivia Gray was soon to take up an artistical and creative career. She soon started taking Guitar lessons. Still in her teens she decided to go to London

and studied at the Cambridge University to get herself a degree in English Literature. With this background she enrolled at the C.A.F.A.D. (Central Academy Of Film Art And Drama) in London which she left with the finishing diploma.
She also got more involved in songwriting. It was during a recording session that Producer Willy Viteka impressed by Olivia's unique voice - decided to bring her togehter with some

outstanding musicians like Terry Britten (who wrote Tina Turner's "What's Love got To Do With It"), Alan Tarney ("We don't talk anymore") Cliff Hall, Alan Jones and Graham Jarvis to record her first album "I'm just a woman" out of which the single "Tomorrow" brought her the first international success. During the following years Olivia recorded 5 more albums with these musicians of which "Take It" including her hit "Lady of the Night" and "Breaking the rules" including the hit "Raining in my heart" were the most succussful.
Her 7th album "Fascination" was recorded in London again with Nigel Jenkins, Anthony Clark, Dave Hewson, Dany McIntosh and John Earle, including her big success "Nobody wants to be lonely".

Olivia also participated in some of the biggest song festivals in the world like the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo, the World Song Contest in Korea, Latin America and Ireland.

For her 8th album "Temptation" Olivia worked with Ian Lynn, a successful producer who engaged some fine musicians like John Earle, Alan Wakeman, Pete Zorn, Tony Jackson, Jerry Stevenson, all known for their work with Tina Turner, Paul Young, A-ha, Sheena Easton, U-2, Brian Ferry, Bruce Hornsby, Cliff Richard just to name a few.

The albums also includes the song "In the morning light"."In The Morning Light" became one of her biggest successes and an interna-tional hit. The Dutch Film Academy chose the songs amongst hundred of songs to make a video clip which was shown by TV stations all over the world.
A Maxi-CD was also released with 12 different versions of this song in various llanguages (English, Italian and Spanish)



Olivia Gray also realised the extraordinary project "Fründe-Friends" with 17 well-known Swiss artists like DJ Tatana, Andreas Vollenweider, Marc Storace (Krokus), Natacha, John Brack, Tony Vescoli, Peter Reber etc.
"This song written by Olivia, was released in January 05 as the official Charity-Song in aid of the victims of the Tsunami catastrophe. The song was in the charts for over 3 months and was therefore the most successful Swiss charity song ever.

Olivia Gray's songs have also been recorded by a whole series of international top artists such as Milva, Francesco Napoli, Los Picos, Paco Aguilera (former member of the "Gipsy Kings and head of the well-known spanish group "Los Rollin" who topped the charts with their most original pop-rumba versions of Beatles Hits) to name only a few.


Olivia wrote recently most sogns for the new album "Midnight Storm" of the legendary group Los Bravos who had a worldwide hit in the 60s with the song "BLACK IS BLACK". She also sings two duets on this album with Mike Kennedy, the lead singer of the group.

Olivia Gray has been working on her new English album entitled "Release my soul" as well as her second Spanish album "Ritmo del amor". The two albums will be quite different but her latest single successes "Te Quiero" and "Ritmo del amor" as well as the powerful ballad "Lay your love on me" respectively "Tu amor esta en mi" will be on both albums.

Olivia Gray's success probably lies in her versatility, her individual and sensual voice as well as in the combination of innovative songs and arrangements. Olivia's music is sensistive and above all very personal.
